The Ranger of Chaos-Harbinger of Doom Pt2 Ch6

"Come out and play with me mon frere! I won't hurt you.....much" Alice listened to Ally's threats as she sat in the tree contemplating her next moves. Most options meant death for Ally was much quicker than Alice....and much more deadly. Unbeknownst to Alice, Ally was right above her....watching....and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Just as Ally as about to drop and kill Alice there was a rustling in a tree next to them. Alice saw the opportunity to get away and started running from tree to tree.

"Dammit I lost her! Stupid animals...always ruining stuff. Ah well....this should be fun." Ally then began to give chase at an alarming rate. Alice had to put distance between her and Ally so she began firing off volley after volley of arrows. Ally dodged these arrows with ease and started to catch up. Alice had to keep running no matter what happened. Alice caught a glimpse of an extremely tall tree in the middle of the woods and began to head for it as quickly as possible. Ally saw this and quickly turned to follow her. Ally knew she would never be able to catch Alice by herself so she summoned an identical Shadow Partner. They split up and flanked Alice on both sides.

Alice found the massive tree and started climbing at breakneck speed. She found the top of the tree with ease and saw both Ally and the Shadow Partner heading for her. There was only one choice and that was to rain arrows on them both. Alice jumped from the top of the tree straight into the air and began to chant something

"May the blessing of the fairy guide my arrows straight and true! Rain down with the force of a hurricane! Taste retribution demon!" A holy circle formed in front of Alice and arrows of pure white light rained down on Ally and the Shadow Partner. The arrow rain subsided and confident that she had killed Ally, Alice turned to head back to Drake. Before she could turn around though, Ally had driven her dagger far into Alice's heart.

"Goodnight sweet princess. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. Wait.....whoa.....I just quoted Hamlet.....what the hell is wrong with me? Oh well.....nothing I can do about it now." Ally cleaned the blood from her dagger, satisfied with another clean kill.

Meanwhile.......

Zeno and Nick clashed weapons and broke away. Zeno had to find a way to get away from Nick so he could make a strategy. As Nick came in for another slash at Zeno it suddenly clicked in Zeno's head. Right as Nick slashed Zeno he realized that he had slashed a puppet in Zeno's place. In the four or five seconds that Zeno had to strategize he had made his whole entire plan. He had 6 bombs and for now that'd have to be enough. He drew Nick out with a a bomb in the far corner of the room. Nick not being stupid enough to fall for that dashed toward the other corner where he presumed Zeno would be. Unfortunately thats exactly what Zeno wanted. Zeno jumped from the corner he fired from and notched the other 5 bombs to his bow.

"Really now? Is that the best you can do Zeno? Bombs? Hah....here I thought you were intelligent." Nick seemed to feel that he had this fight in the bag.

"Hah....good choice of last words." Zeno fired the rest of the bombs into the floor and braced himself for the impact. In a shower of rubble and granite the floor exploded and gave way beneath them. Zeno still hovered enough to use his next move to end it. As the dust cleared Nick looked up and saw Zeno preparing to end it.

"Goodbye Nick. I hate to say it but this was sort of a test for me." Zeno notched his last arrow to his bow and planted it right between Nick's eyes. Zeno left the destroyed building to report to Drake that his deed was done.

In the end everything ties together after the side stories. I may also do an alternate ending....not sure though
